MAPPING at the IGF in Istanbul


Roundtable discussion: ALTERNATIVE ROUTES PROTECTING HUMAN RIGHTS ON THE INTERNET. 

The United Nations is organizing the ninth Annual Internet Governance Forum (IGF) Meeting in Istanbul, on 2-5 September 2014. Of course, MAPPING will be present in Istanbul with an engaging roundtable discussion on the protection of human rights on the internet on Thursday 4 September at 9.00-10.30a.m. (Istanbul time).

ALTERNATIVE ROUTES PROTECTING HUMAN RIGHTS ON THE INTERNET

The roundtable will be moderated by Prof. Joseph Cannataci from the University of Groningen, and speakers include Researcher at Laboratory of Citizenship Sciences Alfonso Alfonsi, Director of the British Business Federation Authority Patrick Curry, Executive Director of the Association for Technology and Internet - APTI Romania Bogdan Manolea, Nevena Ružić from the Council of Europe and many more.
