Geneva, June 2014.
The MAPPING project was introduced to the participants of the international World Summit on the Information Society +10 High-Level Event (WSIS+10), an extended version of the annual WSIS Forum, in Geneva between June 10th and 13th. The audience included around 100 Ministers and leaders from international organizations, business, civil society and academia. Representatives of the consortium from the Diplo Foundation (www.diplomacy.edu) were available to the more than 1600 attending WSIS+10 stakeholders from more than 140 countries at a conference stand. Throughout the event the Diplo staff distributed the MAPPING leaflet and discussed the project with visitors interested in further information.
The event has produced two outcome documents: the WSIS+10 Statement and the Vision for WSIS beyond 2015. Full coverage of the event is available here: http://giplatform.org/events/wsis10-high-level-event
